MEET Igor Shteyrenberg
Mr. Igor Shteyrenberg has been the Executive Director of the Miami Jewish Film Festival for over a decade, guiding it to international prominence. Under his leadership, the festival has earned prestigious accolades, including being named one of the “50 Best Film Festivals in the World” by MovieMaker Magazine for three consecutive years (2020, 2021 & 2022). Additionally, it has been recognized by The Forward as “The Best Jewish Film Festival in the U.S.,” acknowledged by Miami New Times as “One of South Florida’s Best Film Festivals and honored as “Best of Miami” by Miami’s Community Newspapers, solidifying its standing as a cultural gem in the film community.
Situated in the heart of Miami, the festival collectively draws an annual audience of over 40,000, a testament to its outstanding achievements under Mr. Shteyrenberg’s leadership
Beyond his Festival endeavors, Mr. Shteyrenberg has demonstrated his commitment to community engagement and leadership. An alumnus of the Schusterman Foundation’s young leadership ROI Summit, he has actively participated as a panalist for the Miami-Dade County individual Artists program.

In recognition of his unwavering dedication and significant achievements, Mr. Shteyrenberg has been elected as Vice Chair of the City of Miami Beach Production Industry Council board, highlighting his integral role in promoting the growth and prosperity of the entertainment industry. In 2023, he received a proclamation from the City of Miami Beach in recognition of his outstanding support of the Cultural Arts.
